This confidential, free assessment measures an institution’s positioning as an ethical and socially-responsive entity, by evaluating its relative degree of Responsibility in terms of alignment with relevant best practice recommendations for the care and use of animals for scientific purposes in Africa.
This assessment does not replace or consider any country-specific requirements (e.g., laws, regulations, standards, guidelines, rules, codes, or any other relevant national requirements) which may impose additional or alternative requisites to those being assessed here.
